Link-out only. The site's name search runs on an internal JSON endpoint the page script calls; NARA publishes no documentation or terms for it, so Lineage does not call it. robots.txt allows all agents with a crawl delay of 1 second. The full population schedules (images and the name index) are an open dataset on the AWS Registry of Open Data (US Government work), far too large to read per request. A plan node for the 1950 census is not executable and links here for a person to search by name, state and county. The probe reads the home page once a day.
