Notes
Microfilm publication M881, Record Group 93, NAID 570910: "Compiled Service Records of Soldiers who Served in the American Army During the Revolutionary War." Unit, rank and dates from cards abstracted from rolls. Read through the National Archives Catalog API v2 with the server's NARA key (the same key and terms as us-national-archives): search descriptions under the series NAID, then the digital objects and extracted text of a file. The terms say not to scrape the API or cache returned content, and to show that NARA does not endorse the service. robots.txt on catalog.archives.gov disallows every path, so Lineage never reads catalog web pages; the probe reads the API page on www.archives.gov.
