Microfilm publication M804, Record Group 15, National Archives Catalog NAID 300022 (as given on the National Archives American Revolution research page). The best single record for a veteran: declarations with age, birth, residence and service, and depositions by brothers and comrades. Read through the National Archives Catalog API v2 with the server's NARA key (the same key and terms as us-national-archives): search descriptions under the series NAID, then the digital objects and extracted text of a file.
