## Notes

Most API calls need a key (the Thumbnail API, OAI-PMH and SPARQL do not). A personal key comes from Manage API keys after signing in to a Europeana account and accepting the API key terms; a project key needs a form and takes 1 to 5 working days. The API terms page answered 403 to our fetch, so its text was not read; the terms are accepted when the key is requested. The health probe calls the Search API without a key and counts the 401 as proof the API is answering.
